Alchemy Pay attended one of Japan’s most exciting crypto events – TEAMZ Web3 Summit – in Tokyo last week. The event was the first major event of 2023 in the country that has had a complicated relationship with blockchain innovation. TEAMZ promoted the development of Web3 businesses by Japanese companies by those in the industry deepening understanding of the Japanese market in an international context. The slogan for the summit was “Web3, Start Here” and the theme was to discuss the development and trends of the Web3 industry in 2023, how Web3 could attract Web2 firms, and the user experience.
The summit brought together 120 notable VCs & investors, 60 exhibitors, many media companies, plenty of gaming projects and Web3 influencers. Tim Draper and Tone Vays were among the keynote speeches in the conference that took place at Toranomon Hills in central Tokyo.
