Another month has come to an end! The April update showcases the progress and achievements of our dedicated team who have been working tirelessly to accomplish various tasks and projects over the course of the month. This month was highlighted with Alchemy Pay’s presence in Hong Kong, as we were at the center of the Web3 Festival, made important speeches in numerous events, and launched a large-scale billboard advertising campaign across prominent locations in Hong Kong. For important collaborations, we secured $10M at a $400M valuation for expansion in South Korea. This month we ended with one of the biggest events of the year for the crypto, blockchain, and Web3 industries–the Consensus2023 event held by Coindesk in Miami, USA.

In order to facilitate its expansion into the Korean market, Alchemy Pay has announced a strategic partnership with DWF Labs, the prominent multi-stage web3 investment firm. As part of this partnership, Alchemy Pay has secured $10 million in funding from DWF Labs, which will be utilized to expand its payment business in Korea, capitalize on the region’s high level of cryptocurrency acceptance, and assist Korean enterprises in achieving greater internationalization. Alchemy Pay’s estimated valuation during the funding phase was reported to be $400 million.

Alchemy Pay now supports India’s UPI domestic transfer payments for crypto purchases in India. By enabling users to pay by Unified Payments Interface, India’s domestic transfer system, it is possible for Indian bank account holders to buy and sell cryptocurrency with the Indian rupee.
